Backtrace generating and searching for possible duplicates could  start in background right from initial 'Welcome' page in Crash Reporting Assistant, or from 'What do you know about the crash' page.

This will happen now in Plasma 6, see https://invent.kde.org/plasma/drkonqi/-/merge_requests/100. No idea why the bugzilla bot didn't catch this...
