There are quite some question on the web around this functionality so I decided to file an issue. Ref.: www.google.it/search?q=adjust+view+dolphin

Default view mode options are splitted between "Adjust View Properties..." and the dolphin preferences dialog.

Being splitted is not a bug, since they interact I considered this a minor bug instead of a wish.
The interaction is that the icon size default value can be set in both menus.

Please, change severity if it is considered wrong

I cannot set a default value for the icon size in the "Adjust View Properties..." dialog. Can you quickly confirm that this issue is now resolved? Thanks!

I confirm, Fine enough now (dolphin settings -> view modes could include all the view -> adjust view properties global settings).
