Description Henrique 2017-08-19 18:49:39 UTC
The move tool isn't updating the image while dragging a layer or group, for layer there is a work around by using the transform tool, but the transform tool can't move a group.

Works here... You say you're using Linux, but are you using the appimage, a ppa, or something else?
Comment 2 Henrique 2017-08-19 23:36:47 UTC
I'm using the appimage on Linux Mint. Also, I'm not sure if it influences, but this happened with a .psd file. Then I imported an image to one layer, used filter (threshold) and tried to move said layer. But sometimes the bug doesn't come up, so I'm not entirely sure what triggers it.

Hi Henrique. Please, could you check with the latest Krita 4.0.0-beta1.1?
I've tried several times but it seems I'm not able to reproduce this on "Ubuntu 14.04" - "Krita 4.0.0-beta1.1.appimage". My steps:

    1) open a multi layered psd file
    2) apply the Threshold filter to a Paint layer containing art
    3) group the Paint layer
    3) try to move the layer or the group itself

Actual Results: the "Move Tool (T)" actually moves the layer.

PS. I understand this is not always reproducible, however if it does happen again, please, could you attach the .psd file so others can test? thanks
