When i select New and open a document ( A4 300pi for example ) the program then crashes.
I have uninstalled all other versions of Krita which have all worked very well before but having downloaded and installed Krita 3.2.0.6, it seems to have this problem?

Try to disable opengl for now; 3.2.1 will once again work with OpenGL 2.1, which I suspect is the problem in your case, if earlier versions of Krita did work.
