Screencast select keyboard layout, preselect by language

When adding a new keyboard layout there is dialog where in the first there is a combobox named "Restrict selection by language". This box contains often only unintutive or untranslated language abbreviations (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313082).

In the special case for a German keyboard layout for Germany, there are even misleading entries (see attached screencast): "German (Swiss)" which would be found first, only results in "Deutsch (Schweiz)" layout. The correct entry for preselection is "ger" or "Any language". Then the user is able to select "Deutsch" in the layout combobox. So, a German user would be better off not using this preselection at all. But since it is the first thing on the dialog, it looks like this has to be started with.

Suggestion: Remove this box or make it less prominent (e.g. by moving it down, and adding a text like "if you don't find your layout, try restricting the selection by language").

I can confirm this bug also for other Linux distros.
