Description Jorma Veijanen 2017-08-17 08:34:00 UTC
Created attachment 107325 [details]
received and originated from mobile phone

From time to time when I'm receiving email messages (originated usually from mobile phone), it includes characters which doesn't belong to finnish set. All those messages are in finnish. See attachment.

Sometimes even when incoming message at display is clear finnish, my replay includes similar non-finnish codes as in example.
Because of this, I think that problem is in my computer ?

Message information from kmail:
Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Most common error example :
"=C3=A4" should be "ä" in finnish characters.

I have tried to change character coding, but no success.
Yours,
jorma veijanen

Version 4.13 is no longer maintained by KDE PIM developers. Please update to version 5.3 or newer (KDE Applications 16.08). The latest release is 5.6 (KDE Applications 17.08).

Thank you very much of your rsponse. I am not sure how to proceed, because my Mint17's Synaptic tells that latest version is still 4:4.13.3... etc. Can you give me detailed instructions ?
