Description CnZhx 2017-08-17 08:24:13 UTC
No device is listed in Audio Volume applet after a logout then login operation. At the same time, keyboard shortcuts for volume control are not working. But the system can still output audio.

After restart PulseAudio,
```
killall pulseaudio && pulseaudio --start
```
the devices come back to Audio Volume applet. But their icons (PCI card miniature image) are not the normal ones (speaker and microphone). This workaround is from https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221739

Steps to reproduce:
1. Logout from current account;
2. Login in again (without reboot).

My current environment:
```
openSUSE Tumbleweed: 20170810
KDE Plasma: 5.10.4
Qt: 5.9.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.36.0
Kernel: 4.11.8-2-default
```

Cannot reproduce myself on Arch with plasma-pa 10.4.

Can you please post output of "pactl info" before and after you run killall pulseaudio && pulseaudio --start after logout+login?
