What's the "application termination window"? kwin killer I suppose? Could have been the "do you want to save?" dialog, though. 'application not responding' window = application termination window KDevelop app hangs up and when i pressed it's 'Close' button - 'application not responding' window appears with notification sound - but my notification sounds are muted. For example - there is no notification sounds for unsaved changes warning popup window in Kdenlive - but for 'application not responding' window there was the notication sound. So, kwin killer it is. Yes, there is a notification sound for KWin killer - but there is no sound for all other notification windows. There is no sound being set in the kwin killer. I don't have any indications for a sound being played by KWin for the kill window dialog. The code certainly does not. I do not know where the sound comes from, but it's not KWin. I can confirm that the "Notification Sounds" volume does not affect the sound played by kwinkiller (QMessageBox), not sure why that is, but I'll have a look. Reassigning, not a bug in KWin, but rather in the framework. |
