Copy/cut/paste functionality works only from second attempt for same selected text.

This bug report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that the issue still persists with KDE 5.23? If so, can you please provide a list of steps, describing how to reproduce the issue. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting for more information on how to report issues.
