When .jpeg and .jpg files are added, the preview shows a correct dissolve effect between the videos and image files. However, when rendered, the image files are not displayed. Instead, a white screen appears and continues to play the rest of the video correctly until another image is supposed to be displayed.

Set the processing threads to 1 (seetings -> Environment).
Do you still encounter this problem with the newest Kdenlive version 18.08.3?
