You should be getting this issue every time you run Discover, not just when opening a file, as it's crashing in initialization code. Can you confirm? Also, would it be possible to get a backtrace with debug symbols? Hi, You are right. Discover crashes everytime its opened. Please guide me on how to get debug symbols. Here's some information by your distribution: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/StackTraces#What_are_debugging_symbols.2C_and_why_are_they_important.3F Also I'd recommend to update your version of Discover, 5.10.4 has some bugfixes that might suit you. If this is still reproducible, please add a backtrace with debug symbols for discover. If comment #3 did not help, please ask in a forum of your distribution how to install them. If you can provide the information requested in comment #5, please add it. To further investigate this issue, KDE developers need the information requested in comment #5. If you can provide it, or need help with finding that information, please add a comment. No response, changing status. If you have new information, please add a comment. |
