I thought that this was fixed but now it happens again at my 5.10.4 system... 

Whenever I try to copy a big file(s) (e.g. > 2Gb) (something big enough in order to take time to observe the issue) the progress animation in the systray it goes crazy (it is like the progress animation in the systray doesnt have a delayer between 
frames so this animation creates infinite animation frames in very short time)... 

That creates a cpu usage around 15% but this is only because my system has 8 cores, so one of the cores is used at around 100% all the time until the copy function finishes

Yes, though it's not specifically related to the systram , see the bunch of very related bugs. Most info is in the bug report about the slideshow.
