Does this happen when you're not running plasma and you suspend from a VT? Please set this bug status back to unconfirmed when replying If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add it. To further investigate this issue, KDE developers need the information requested in comment #1. If you can provide it, or need help with finding that information, please add a comment. This seems to be resolved with the latest kernel, where the slowdown is just few seconds (e.g. 2-3) instead of 15-20 seconds.
