... You know that 32bit float per channel is 128bits in total, and not a mere 32 bit image, right? Because I imagine that is the cause for your lag. Gimp 2.8 can only do the equivalent of 8 bits per channel maximum. I imagine this is the prime reason you are experiencing lag. So I am closing this. |
Created attachment 106977 [details] Video of LAG I have an laptop HP with Windows 10 SL. I7 4710HQ @ 2.3GHz, 16GB of RAM, SSD 500GB and Nvidia GTX 850 with 4GB. The problem is that some brushes have too lag. I attached a video showing the issue. I have updated all drivers in my laptop. The problem happens with tablet Intuos Pro M and with mouse. The brushes in GIMP works fine with similar configuration. Thanks.
