It looks like KDE connect 1.6.5 is available in Google Play Store but there is no such tag in the anongit repo https://cgit.kde.org/kdeconnect-android.git/
Thus F-Droid can't build the new version.

Sorry, it looks like tag v1.6.5 was never pushed to the repo. Thanks for noticing, I just fixed it.
