Any other notification crashes plasmashell as well. If there's a hang we need a backtrace. Please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports I've already sent tens reports with KDE Crash Dialog. How to retrieve them? Sample Plasmashell backtraces attached Thanks for the update; changing status. Backtrace from comment #5 shows a recursion in QQuickItem::geometryChanged(). QT bug? Reproducible for KDE Plasma 5.10.5 in openSUSE Tumbleweed as well. A lot has changed since this bug was filed. Ok, sounds like there's no bug to fix anymore. |
