Forgot to mention that, the DVD-RAM was in the 2nd drive: /dev/sr1. -------------------------------------- Only for the case of an ext2 DVD-RAM in the 2nd (sr1) drive, the Device Notifier doesn't eject the disk. If the DVD-RAM is in the 1st (sr0) drive, "mount" and then "unmount and eject" via the Device Notifier works as it should do. With the ext2 DVD-RAM in the 2nd (sr1) drive, "mount" and then "unmount and eject" via the Panel's Device Notifier, followed by a bash CLI "eject /dev/sr1", cleans up the mount point and ejects the DVD-RAM. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 361450 *** |
