100% CPU load here as well on Fedora 28, kdenlive 18.04.3. KDE Frameworks 5.48.0, Qt 5.11.1 (собрана с версией 5.11.1), Оконная система xcb. Updated to 18.08.3. This exact effect is noted on the current .appimage release. Ubuntu Studio 18.10 (latest) on Xfce 4.12. Please try with the current Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage It should be solved. Any updates on this?
