Description Jan-Matthias Braun 2017-07-23 11:50:18 UTC
When adding an additional route for a wired connection via edit -> ipv4 -> routes and closing the dialog, the route will be gone when editing the route again. It is not applied, either.

When doing the same on a wireless connection, everything works as expected, i.e., the editor shows a previously entered route and the route is applied when the connection is established.

I don't know if this is a similar problem as in bug #311837, which has been fixed.

I cannot reproduce this problem, when I put additional route it is saved everytime, even without saving when I open the dialog again the route I filled in is still there.

Crazy. Thanks for testing, then I will try to dig deeper on this end...

It still doesn't mean that the problem is not in plasma-nm, just maybe describe more what you are doing? Maybe try a new connection and set routes there? What values are you putting in?

Hi!

I am somewhat busy right now, but I will come back to this issue. I am seeing other things not being committed on my system, but I need to sort this out first. Thanks for looking into it!

Cheers,

Jan

Hej! I have been able to wait long enough -- I cannot observe it anymore in 5.11.3.

So, thanks a lot for whatever you did, even if it had nothing to do with this problem. :-)

Cheers,

Jan
