Description Jean-Claude 2017-07-21 05:28:16 UTC
I am probably wrong but I cant get the right FOV value for my binocular.
My binocular is 10.5x70, field of view 87.5m at 1000. That is 5° real.
When I use the FOV calculator I get : Field of View = 100.24 arcmin
I am misunderstanding something or ...

You need to select Meters instead of Yards/Feet.

Of course ! Thank you.
Thank you again Jasem (and all others) to bring out this lovely software.
I'm playing with it since several days, exploring all its capabilities.
To tell the truth I'm trying to get away from TheSkyX that I find clumbsy to master.
In fact it is very badly written in comparison of KStars.
I made a donation to kde.org and will continue to support the project.
Have a nice day.

As per discussion, I think this is not a bug.
