Description Martin Koller 2017-07-14 11:32:29 UTC
Justg reading planet KDE https://toscalix.com/2017/07/12/new-blog-post-testing-quality-really/

There is a sentence "Check the blog post." with a link to
http://blog.toscalix.com/2016/05/testing-quality-really.html

clicking that link - nothing happens.
right-click that link and in the popup selecting "open Link in new Tab" works
(except that I get the content of "Oops! That page can’t be found."

I still expect both actions to lead to the same result: a new tab

Clicking on the second "Complete Story" link https://toscalix.com/2017/07/12/new-blog-post-testing-quality-really/
opens the page in a new tab, but here when I now click on the same link at "Check the blog post." the result is an empty page, and that page does not let be go back to where I came from - no "Back" Action in the popup nor the Backspace Key goes back.
I can only close the tab and start again

Thanks for the report Martin.

I've not come across this issue at all in Akregator from git master.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" when you respond, thanks.

I'm using here Version 5.15.2 (20.08.2) and the issue of a link-click doing nothing is still there.

E.g. I read https://www.teslarati.com/spacex-starlink-approved-canada-beta-invites/
and click on the link in the text "Beta users have already begun putting Starlink user terminals through their paces..."

https://www.reddit.com/r/Starlink/comments/jqedvw/snow_in_sw_montana_today/

and nothing happens.
