Most app store/software center type programs have a feature whereby once you install a program, the "install" button turns into a button marked "open" that can be used to open the newly-installed program. This is a very useful feature for new users who are not likely to be familiar with where programs "live", and may not know how to open newly-installed software.

Discover currently changes the "install" button into a "remove" button for installed software. This implicitly assumes that the most likely thing for a user to do with the newly-installed software is to remove it--hopefully not! That said, a remove button *is* useful because removing newly-installed software that's not found to be useful is also a common use case.

I propose that for installed software, an additional button appears that allows the user to open the program. This would allow the user to easily run as well as remove the new program, thereby satisfying both common post-install use cases.
