Hello,

I am unable to make kde lock screen on lid close.

Whenever I close the lid of laptop and then open it back, the screen remains unlocked.

I think your hunch was correct. It may not be an *exact* duplicate of Bug 391782, but it's very likely fixed by the same thing. Let's call it a dupe for now, and Yevgeny can re-open it if it's not fixed in 5.12.5.
