How similar should the themes be?
I attached two images, one with amaragd and the other with compiz. They are very similar, but the title is different, in amaragd occupies almost the entire width of the window while in compiz it adapts to the width of the title.
Is this a limitation of kwin or could it be played in smaragd?

Could you please provide the theme link?

It is a modification of this
<https://www.opendesktop.org/s/Compiz/p/1004549/> theme to make it looks
like the clasical Keremik KDE3 theme (but in orange). It is childish
because I use it in PicarOS <https://minino.galpon.org/en> (a linux
distribution for kids and teachers) where I use a modified version of
Gereamik for Xfwm4 and almost the same for Compiz to give unity. But now
I'm experimenting with KDE5 and Smaragd to know if it would be possible to
get the same result.

Thanks.

This is indeed a regression from the KDE4 version.

The titleRect passed to decorationImage() should be the actual text rectangle within the captionRect.

Can confirm this. IMO, it's a fairly serious bug. Ruins a lot of pixmap engine emerald themes (Including one that I'm currently designing).
