Now we can access places from pinned icon context menu,
can kde team give us the feature described on summary too? Thanks.

Eike, is Dolphin responsible for adding the Places entries to the TM context menu?
Comment 2 Eike Hein 2017-06-26 20:34:17 UTC
No, it's done in the Task Manager.

Merci. Feel free to re-assign if you believe this could be an option for Plasma's task manager.

I am not sure we should add all partitions by default, especially because the names they have (or get from Solid?) tend to be terrible and confusing.

As we can see in the attached screenshot, on neon unstable the context menu now has a submenu called 'Devices', but it does not list the partitions of my SDD. It only lists my Android phone. It would be nice if internal partitions were accessible via this 'Devices' submenu too.

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
