Created attachment 106269 [details] VGA mouse pointer Bug Name: Mouse pointer looses resolution over application windows on dual monitor displays Environment: clear install Ubuntu 16.04.2 with updates and 3rd party software selected during install Hardware: NVidia quadro 600 Dell U2410 Dell U2412 Observed: mouse pointer changes to oversized (looses resolution (?) ) when over application windows eg. firefox / kate / konsole etc... Repro: starting with a clean install as noted above open kate / firefox etc and move the mouse pointer over the window. Observe the pointer size change to VGA size Expected: Mouse does not change resolution variants: bug repros regardless of monitor orientation bug repros with with both open source driver and NVidia proprietory driver bug also repros on mint 18.1 with kde interface this maybe a regression there was a similar bug in Debian 5.0 (?) Other Notes: bug does not repro on Mint 17.1 Attached: screenshot
