Terminal output

BEHAVIOR
When I run the new appimage containing the refactored timeline (from here: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/unstable/kdenlive-refactoring-20170620.AppImage.mirrorlist), the UI is black when I run it from terminal. Hovering over the UI with the mouse shows the tooltips appear, but none of the UI components are there.

I've included two files: a screenshot, and the terminal output when I ran the appimage file.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
For the UI components to appear and behave normally.

Hum weird OpenGL errors… Not sure if it comes from your distrib or the packaging.

What kind of graphic driver do you have?
Can you check that openGl is installed?

@alcinos, the graphics driver version is listed in the original post. I'm also sure that I have openGL installed, though I'm not sure how to find the specific version.

I just tried running the latest appimage (version 17.04.1b-x86_64), and the UI seems to be showing just fine (tested on the same PC and set-up).

If anyone else can download and test the latest appimage (from https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/Kdenlive-17.04.1b-x86_64.AppImage.mirrorlist) while running proprietary Nvidia drivers and can confirm that this bug is no longer present, I'll be happy to close it.

Thanks!

This issue doesn't appear in the latest stable builds of 17.08 or the time-refactoring builds, so I'm closing this bug. Nice work guys!
