Description Thomas Pointhuber 2017-06-20 15:42:43 UTC
## HowTo reproduce

* Open krita using application launcher or by clicking onto a krita file
* Click on "Save as" or "Export", the file dialog always point in the Home Directory

## Expected behaviour

* the file dialog should point to the current working directory of the krita file by default, because the home folder is most times not the place where you want to store the file.

I'm forced every time to click trough a huge list of directories only to store a file in the same dir as the original file lies. I think this compared to the home folder a much more likely usecase. Furthermore, going to the home dir is only one click away. Going to the directory where the original file lies requires a lot of clicks and scrolling.

## System

 * Antergos x64
 * Gnome 3.22.2 Desktop

Is this similar to this bug report -> https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381434

If yes then we merge two and continue the discussions at one place.
