Favorite list in apps menu and window decoration show blue icon, panel, apps menu and system tray show a different icon. See the screenshot please.
I use breeze icon theme on neon dev.

I "think* this is intentional, since very small icons are usually grayscale line-art like what you're seeing. But I agree that it's not ideal. K3B's icon would definitely scale down enough to preserve its color and shape.
