Possible workarounds:
1. Add a "> ".
2. Completely ignore citation lines. This is especially useful, if the line gets longer with the iteration of citations, like:
> > > > > this is the 5th reply of the original message and now longer than 78
Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version? If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you! Yes, still present. An even easier way to reproduce: 1. Write a new email. 2. Deacitivate automatic word wrap (and rich text). 3. Type: `> sldkfj slkdjf lskdjf lksjdfl skjdfl sjdfl sjkdflk sjdlfkjs ldkfjslfj sldkfj slkdfj skldjfl skdjflksjdf` 4. Activate word wrap. This fails in the described way. |
Wordwrap with citation does not work correctly for me. To reproduce: - Deactivate automatic wordwrap. - (Intelligent citing is activated) - Answer to a mail with long lines - Toggle wordwrap. What happens are lines like this: ---- code begin ---- > This was a very long long long line, that has to be word wrapped. ---- code end ---- So kmail wraps but breaks the cite with the wrap (althought the color of the line is correct). If needed I can attach a screenshot.
