Description Daniel 2017-06-06 12:33:36 UTC
I did not experience this with any of the previous KRITA Versions.
The odd thing is, that the autosaved recovery file is always working.
So it does not seem to be a Hardware issue.

Moroever, but I do not know if things are related, a tag I assigned
to a new group of brushes is lost. The brushes are still there.

That sounds scary. I haven't heard from others that saving is broken, and we didn't change anything in the saving code between 3.1.3 and 3.1.4. The thing with tags probably isn't related, unless the issue is with the disk itself. Could you check whether there are temporary files left over in you temp dir?

We first save to the temp dir, then copy the saved file back, when saving was succesful. But the saving code should warn if it couldn't save a valid zip file :-(

Hi Daniel,

Is this still a problem with the current version of Krita? I haven't been able to reproduce the issue myself, but we added a bunch of extra checks in the meantime.

Hi,

Thanks for taking care of that.
I admit, I have not used Krita that much in the past and in this special
setting since then (large canvas & file).
Could also been a problem of my former windows install.
So never mind and thanks again.

Daniel
