Responding to this report because I take care of the intel-microcode packages for Debian, and that's what ends up in Ubuntu most of the time. This is the first time we heard about something like this after a microcode update. Please open a bug about it in Ubuntu's launchpad, against the intel-microcode package, and we will take it from there. We will need a lot more information about your system to be able to help. Note: if you overclock, overvolt, underclock or undevolt your system, reset *everything* to the recommended values by Intel and check if the issue remains. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 369430 *** Henrique, I can assure you that this (randomly occuring) crash is not related to Intel microcode.
