Thanx -- Originally posted by (AT sourceforge.net): nobody -- Hi nono 231 1\) I must say that i use compiz 2\)To reproduce the bug \(if it is possible\) do this : \--> load the file i have attached \--> load it a second time and RKward should crash with X -- Originally posted by (AT sourceforge.net): nobody -- well i can't managed to attach the file :\( so i give you the url : http://geai.univ-brest.fr/~carpenti/2006-2007/Documents-R/Budget-Temps-ONU.Rdata I tested with RKWard 0.4.9a, and can't reproduce, here. In case you haven't done so, yet, could you please update to version 0.4.9a and try again? While nothing was done specifically to address this problem in 0.4.9a, it could still have gone away, meanwhile. If you still see this problem with RKWard 0.4.9a, could you provide some more info / do some more testing? 1\) Do you only see this problem with this specific file, or are other/all .Rdata files affected as well? 2\) You say the crash occurs when you load the same file a second time. Is it important that you load the same file a second time, or does the crash also occur, if you select a different file the second time? 3\) Please try the following sequences, and report the result of each: A\) \- load the file once \- now go to the R Console and enter "rm \(budget\)" \- load the file again B\) \- load the file once \- go to the R Console and enter "budget <- budget \* 2" \- load the file again C\) \- load the file once \- go to the R Console and enter "budget <- c \(1, 2, 3\)" \- load the file again 4\) Which version of R do you use \(enter "R.version" in the R Console\)? Thanks\! - **summary**: X11 crash when import Rdata --> NEEDINFO: X11 crash when import Rdata Hi\! Do you still see this bug in one of the current versions of RKWard \(0.5.2 on KDE 4 or 0.4.9b on KDE 3\)? If so, could you please provide some more information as requested in my previous comment? Regards Thomas Was reported for 0.4.x, developers could not reproduce it, and no follow-up information was provided for over a year. So I guess, it's ok to expire this ticket. If you still see this with a current version of RKWard \(0.5.x\), please open a new report. - **status**: open --> closed-out-of-date |
