Looks like you are trying to run it without admin privileges. The crash itself was fixed in master but program would be still unusable without admin privileges. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 375394 *** How exactly are you starting Partition Manager? Hello, thank you for the quick answer! I simply ran the installation: $ sudo pacman -S partitionmanager Then, when I try to open it, it asks for my root password. When I enter my root pass, it doesn't accept it. I tried numerous times, I enter my root password many times throughout the day. On the other hand, when I try to open it without root privileges, it doesn't open non-sudo also. Thank you, Olzhas I also double checked the password by clicking on the eye icon. The root password is correct. I have a single root password btw. Thank you, Olzhas This is because you use your user password for sudo (not a separate root account) but didn't properly configure kdesu to use sudo instead of su. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/sudo#kdesu *** Bug 380423 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
