I must amend my bug-report. The precise problem is lack of KDE Partition Manager in the menu. A possible dublicate of the Bug 369646 - The 'free' menu in Dolphin's status bar incorrectly lists KDE Partition Manager as not installed - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369646 Yep, definitely a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369646 Happily, there's an open patch that resolves the issue awaiting final review. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 369646 *** |
Created attachment 105765 [details] Screenshot of menu failing to detect installed apps. In Dolphin clicking on the filesize indicator in the bottom right brings up a "More" menu which allows launching several file-system tools. These include KDE Partition Manager, GParted, Filelight and a few more. However all are listed under the heading "Not Installed" and only give the option to visit the website for each app. I do infact have several of these packages installed but they are not detected.
