For this bug just 1. Logon as user 2. su - 3. enter password 4. tupe any character and double press Tab (for question about possibilities) 5. close Konsole by mouse. 99% CPU usage too... :( Unable to reproduce in KDE 3.0 Cheers Waldo --=20 bastian@kde.org | SuSE Labs KDE Developer | bastian@suse.com > Unable to reproduce in KDE 3.0

Seems I can reproduce it with bash now too... seeems like a bash (readline?= )=20 bug though. E.g. as if it fails to notice that it's file-descriptors are=20 being closed or something. Cheers Waldo --=20 bastian@kde.org | SuSE Labs KDE Developer | bastian@suse.com bash/readline bug reported and fixed there. Cheers Waldo --=20 bastian@kde.org | SuSE Labs KDE Developer | bastian@suse.com Have got a similar problem in 3.1.3. Open konsole under user, su to root, start top and use mouse on x to close window sned CPU usage to nearly 100% and system temp rocketing! |
