Please check the 3.1.4 alpha; I think we just fixed this issue. https://download.kde.org/unstable/krita/3.1.4-alpha.1/ Hi Boudewijn, Not able to install 3.1.4-alpha.1 right now, but I found your code fix (https://cgit.kde.org/krita.git/commit/?id=03b3dbd0a1f64c7d44cfbd98ee44524e59db25b3) and after enabling opengl in my settings, animations work now! :) I suggest this code fix be backported into the stable release that is in the main website. Thanks for the support and your work on this project! -John *** Bug 379765 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Quick update: I was able to install 3.1.4-alpha.1 and the crash bug is gone!
