I share the hard drive of a Windows 8 PC in the office as it is useful for me to be able to move files to/from it from my Mint laptop.

These drives are now no longer accessible either through the saved 'Places' shortcuts, or if I try and recreate them.

I get the error:

Internal Error.
Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org
Unknown error condition in stat: No route to host

The Windows drives are still shared under the same names, and are accessible from another machine I have running Windows 8.

That's a pretty specific error. Are you sure the laptop can reach the Windows PC? (try to ping it).

Thanks for your reply - I had left the office before I read it. I had to reboot my laptop into Windows at home to use a specific piece of software so obviously I have a fresh boot of Mint this morning, and the bookmarks are working again. I did install a few updates yesterday. Should have tried restarting, but I just followed the instructions :)

Sorry for wasting time - now resolved - possibly an issue with updated to Mint KDE installed between 14 May and 16 May?
