Created attachment 105434 [details] screenshot example BEHAVIOR Clicking the "Add Clip" button opens the import window. Selecting the "Show Preview" button while running a non-plasma desktop (GNOME, in this case) won't enable the preview thumbnails for video, images, etc. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR Clicking the "Show Preview" button should show preview thumbnails of video and image files regardless of desktop environment being used. BUG DISCOVERED USING Kdenlive 17.07.70 via ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-master Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 x64 GNOME 3.24.1 desktop environment Linux kernel 4.10.0-20-generic Nvidia GTX 980ti graphics card Nvidia 375.39 proprietary driver
