When reading my feeds, I always go keyboard-only navigation. So I was used to use both "+" for next unread and left/right arrows for prev/next articles.

Sadly, after updating to Kontact 5.4.3 (Applications 16.12.3?), when using the keys to navigate through articles, I can't use "Av pag" or "Re pag" to scroll down and up the articles themselves without clicking to "focus" them (on the article's box). This is very unpleasant. It also happens if you go to any article by clicking on its name in the article's list.

I guess it has to do with the change to using QWebEngine. I hope this can be fixed but it will be hard to wait 6 months for the next distro release :(

Thanks for the report Marc.

I've tried to test this on the latest Akregator from git master.

I couldn't find an "Av Pag" or "Re Pag" shortcut in the configuration.

However I was able to tab from the articles list to the web view and then scroll around the web page then Shift Tab to get back to the articles list.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved, thanks.

Like I said in another bug from more than 3 years ago too, not using KDE anymore, you can close all my reports if you want.
