While using the news server for KDE mailing lists news://news.uslinuxtraining.com/kde.koffice-devel
 there is an article called "(forw) Fwd: Re: Question about your KPresenter's review (my reply)" when has an attachment with the mime-type of "message/rfc822".

However there is no way to access this attachment except through the menu "Atricle"->"View Source" !

Perhaps this is related to :http://bugs.kde.org/db/32/32982.html ?

BTW: I do have the options for viewing "attachments in-line if possible" set to true.

Also why does the menu popup in the article area not contain the relevant contents of the 
"Article" menu ?

yes, same problem as in #32982, but its "only" a missing feature  
=> wishlist item
