This is most likely an openSuSE packaging issue. Did you report it with them? If not, please do. https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_KDE seems to be the right place to start that. |
On openSuSE 42.2, marble 2.2 (any of the KDE Applications 17 series) seems to not find its data directories: There are no (default) maps (one can install new ones though), no routing services and no plugins. Command line output is: inotify_add_watch("/maps") failed: "No such file or directory" Map theme file does not exist: "" No plugins loaded. Please check if the plugins were installed in the correct path, or if any errors occurred while loading plugins. Start: MarblePart::readSettings() Updating Settings ... Shortcut for action "" "Hide &All Panels" set with QAction::setShortcut()! Use KActionCollection::setDefaultShortcut(s) instead. Version 2.0.2 (from KDE Applications 16.08) worked perfectly.
