The desktop keeps forgetting widgets added to the desktop by just switching activities.
It also forgets background settings after restart.

1 - Unlock desktop widgets
2 - add a widget
3 - lock desktop widgets
4 - switch to another activity
5 - switch back to activity with added widget(s)
6 - widget(s) are gone

I also created https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=714527 because as far as I remember it started when I first accidentally switched activities by moving a browser tab.

Are you able to reproduce this in Plasma 5.17?
