I just installed latest digikam on arch, which consists of marble-common-17.04.0-1 marble-data-17.04.0-1 digikam-5.5.0-2. This works fine here. Does the crash occur every time you start digikam? The symlink mentioned in the title is not needed anymore after https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/release-team/2017-April/010244.html. It could be a problem even, can you remove it and try with the latest arch packages to see if that makes a difference? Setting a link between ABI incompatible library versions is asking for trouble. If packages cannot be installed because of missing dependencies, please report this to the bug tracker of your distribution instead of trying to work around it. If the crash persists with ABI compatible compilations, please add a comment. |
