I confirm the issue. Deleting the Window section from the config solves the issue. Keeping the window open is enabled in the settings menu after restarting Yakuake, and KeepOpen is not set to false in yakuakerc. Same here. Command output: yakuake QObject::connect: invalid null parameter Removing yakuakerc solves it for a session unless any settings modifications are made. For me it did not solved the issue. After typing yakuake there is no error, only a yakuake window popup and disappear. I have tried to delete the profile, no sucess. I found the same issue and removing the following line from yakuakerc fixed it: KeepOpen=false Can't reproduce it in master and seems that this have been fixed by https://phabricator.kde.org/R369:7534df21025b10fd236dd5a8f92d0dff7889e0ef For me it is working now (3.04-2) on wayland, however the KeepOpen=false does not work. It is always on top and fix, the keepopen setup does not seem to work. Issued about KeepOpen option - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380497 Closing this - It's an upgrade issue from over a year ago. If it's not fixed by now it doesn't make much sense to keep it open |
