If I'm viewing a file at any personal zoom but not 100%, when I open a new view of that file, zoom is not respected. That's maybe a "normal way of work", but I think the zoom that the user forced for a opened file should be retained for each new view he opens, IMHO.

The view zoom is a view local setting.
This is like you guessed per design and mimics what other tools do.
Therefore we won't change that behavior, sorry.

Thank you anyway. A major problem with latest Plasma updates don't let me do ftp or smb connections, so I'm using other non QT based editors.
