Description Anduril97 2017-04-02 17:49:12 UTC
I upgraded to Kubuntu 16.10 and now I cannot use my ethernet port at all, it is totally dead and does not recognize anything. I had been using 16.04 and had no problems at all!

Please get back to me as soon as possible, as I use Linux as my main OS, and I don't have frequent access to Wifi either.

Attatch outputs from "nmcli -f all device show" and "nmcli -f all connection show"?

From the output you sent me I can see that your ethernet device is unmanaged by NetworkManager so that's the reason why you cannot use it. Go and report please this issue to NetworkManager in their bugzilla.
