Everything loads properly, yet once I begin to design anything.it takes several seconds to move. then that's about it. everything works in the auto, predefined, text area, but on my canvas its useless. help.. having Krita  Withdrawls.

Did this begin to happen recently? Does it matter whether you disable OpenGL? If you're using a tablet, which brand of tablet are you using? What is the size in pixels and colorspace and color depth of your image?
