Description Steve 2017-03-22 16:35:32 UTC
Sometimes when I click on an email, instead of showing it in the pane below the list, the mail gets deleted. Permanently. Without moving it to the trash. I confirmed this by using a web mail interface to the imap server and see that mail is gone forever.

Steve, what version of KMail do you experience this with? Does this still happen to you? If so, did you notice any other strange behaviour that might be related to the problem and might help find the bug?

I upgraded the severity to critical due to the loss of data.
