Sentry Crash Report:

Description a.frankova.contact 2017-03-19 09:50:14 UTC
A segmentation fault error happens every time I close a Kate window. It takes place after the file is saved, so no data is lost, but I get an error pop-up every time. (Unless I'm trying to test it for the bug report, which is when it finally gets suppressed by the system, of course *harrumph*. The segfault error message is always echoed when running from the shell.)

How to reproduce:
==================

Open a kate window.
Close the window.

Could you please test a more recent version, 15.12 is quite old already.
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2017-03-31 16:16:36 UTC
Waiting for feedback on a more recent version (16.08 or newer).

Sorry, missed the last notification.

Yep, looks like the newest version from ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports is fixed.

Thanks for the nudge, I should've checked the version first thing. (Did not realize that the main repo doesn't have the newest version.)
